@ANOTHERHOLEINYOHEAD It's all practice man. Just keep at it, spend atleast an hour a day with your guitar and you'll get there. Great guitarists like Zakk Wylde would come home from school and he would play till he passed out. Practice makes perfect, just don't give up. :)

@rotren Yes it does thankyou.
Hi, Robert I have been playing for a month and I have learned the flat, minor,and major chords from someone who has sent me diagrams to my mailbox and the A chord is that what a regular A chord is no minor sharp or flat? Please respond I am a beginner trying to play and I would apreciate your help.

Hi Robert,
I was wondering how long it would take me (with maximum practice) to learn to play barre chords effortlessly. At the moment I can sort of play barre chords but it is very much hit and miss and at this stage I am not proficient enough to transition between chords. I would really like to know a rough estimate by when I could play barre chords as effortlessly as how you are doing in this video.

@ANOTHERHOLEINYOHEAD hard to say, a couple of weeks maybe?

Hi Robert, take a look at 6:49. You said you couldnt get the last note to sound very easily. I just wanted to know if you meant the thin e string. I hope I am making sense?

@ANOTHERHOLEINYOHEAD Yes, that is correct. That is because the ring finger is barring 3 notes, and it's difficult to sharply bend that finger so that the high E string will ring. Makes sense?
