Heritage USA / PTL in June 1988 Vid #5

Begins inside the water park, in the deep end of the wave poo, next to the wave generating equipment. A few lonely rapids water ride tubes were resting against the grates to the openings.

There were several gazebos on the water park. There was just so much to see & do on the "island", and all of it was first class all the way. Everything was very clean, well-maintained, picture perfect. Sadly, things would not remain that way for long.

By 3:20 into the video, I had been discovered, and asked to leave. The guy escorting me out kept looking over his shoulder to make sure I was leaving the park after him. Sure enough, I got to the round building that you first enter into after crossing the bridge, and there was a sign saying NO TRESPASSING.

Back to the tram stop which, in 2009, looked nothing like it does in this video! I next began to walk down a sidewalk leading to the train station below. The rails and chain link on either side of the path are all gone. I then started walking around the lake itself, towards the chalets and cabins.
