Ok, so forget the red mile, my basement is the red mile if not better and flashier. First let me explain why I am the most Connected Calgary Flames Fan. You are walking into a born and raised calgarians flames shrine that has been up in this basement for the past 10 years 365 days a year, it never comes down! When you walk through the doors of the basement you are greeted with a sign that reads Flames Locker room, do not enter!
From there you walk into a room filled with flames memorabilia, well put it this way I pretty much own the flames fanattic, I have every flames hockey jersey they have worn hanging on the walls. There are also lights and sirens, mini fake flames that shoot up when the flames score that all goes off simultaneously, you have to see it to believe it! I wish I could describe everything but that would take way too many pages. So sit back,relax and enjopy the show! GO FLAMES GO!

@IslandersFan25 no no nooooo. Why wouldn't you want the game of hockey to become more popular. I guess ESPN is too busy anyway. I think the National Spelling Bee Championships are on tonight. Or maybe some fishing.

@deano14eh they don't cover hockey because they are mad that the nhl didn't want to stay on ESPN. after the lockout ESPN offered them another contract and denied it and then again in 2008.

hahah well I wasn't saying you didn't know about hockey, but I wouldn't generalize saying us people know more about hockey then canadians cause we all know thats not true, just look at espn they don't even cover hockey all that well, and yes I agree it is popular in the hockey towns of detroit and minnesota. But lets face it most of the other hockey markets in the states they know squat about hockey nor do they even care about hockey.
