Subtropical Cities 2011 Conference Rosemary Kennedy

Hear from Rosemary "Rosie" Kennedy, Director, Centre for Subtropical Design, Queensland Institute for Technology and co-chair of the Subtropical Cities 2011 Conference. Kennedy recently visited FAU's campus in downtown Fort Lauderdale in preparation for the exciting international conference to be held March 8 - 11, 2011, in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Hosted by Florida Atlantic University in partnership with the Queensland University of Technology in Australia, the collaborative conference will discuss the future of development in subtropical cities around the world.

Key themes include: subtropical cities in the urban age, sustainable practices and decision making for resilient cities and adaptation to climate change.
