Cirilia Rose teaches a welt technique seen in Revés, a pattern from Berroco Booklet #290 Vintage™: Arts & Crafts. The technique can also be used to make Gainsbourg, a free pattern on the Berroco website.

  • Thanks for sharing. They look like picot design, right?

I can't believe some people here has a nerve to complain(unnecessary rudeness). Gosh the woman is doing a favor to putting the video here.

  • The "umm" sort of bothers me to. I have a close friend who used "umm" quite a bit and when I pointed it out to him he almost had to script out his day to over come the use of it.

It doesn't bother me as much as the entire video being out of focus. I notice that alot with many of these knitting videos and it is very annoying. I would rather not watch it than try to focus on something that I will never-never be able to focus on...hard on the eyes. Sorry for the complaints.

  • Excellent video!

  • Hi Cirilia were can I find the video for picking up stitches the one you mention during this video, now on this video, and I am talking about a sweater sleeve, so the blue colour is the actual welt, and the green would be the main colour of the sweater?

I work all my sweaters top down, with my own variations, I use this method as I am lousy at sewing the pieces together I have ruined more sweater by trying to do this, but that's life and thank you!

  • I hate to say this: the word 'Um' is said way too much...so much so that it's annoying to listen to the instructions!

  • i love your teaching style :) Very learner friendly.

  • OMG!!! You are a great teacher.

Thank you very much for being a very kind person while demonstration:)

  • fabulous instructions, very clear, and I love the "childlish" rainbow and smile associations, they're very smart and make it easy to remember :o)

  • I love the colors you are using *.*

This is very helpful, Thank you! <3
