That's not even long hair! LOL You'd think he was Leon Russell hair or something. Danny Bonaduce's father used to write episodes for Arnie. If that son was the same age today he'd be on a CW show!
This was the one show I swore I remembered from '72, or whenever, but lost sight of completely. I remember it was accessible and friendly. Had no idea it was actually Herschel Bernardi who played Arnie. Nice writing too, which I can now enjoy.
i remember watching this show when it first aired, wasn't it around 1970? it seems to me, as i recall, and i was a teenager then and being in with the 'hippie crowd', or a 15 yr old in the small town the UCONN campus was in, we were about as hip as upper white middle class kids in the east coast 'burbs could get, taking the train into nyc to see concerts at the filmore east: hendrix, sly, cocker, and my most favorite, janis joplin; and yet sit-coms like this, petticoat junction, green acres ,
this show is surreal. all sitcoms to one degree or another inhabit another world, but this is way way out there.

More of a musical stage actor, put out a pretty good album of showtunes in 71 or so. Fiddler on the Roof a career highlight.

The most awesome part is that the guy can just go home in the middle of the work day just because he feels like it.

I remember this show too. It wasn't on for long. I forgot that Herschel Bernardi had such a big nose.
