Carcillo, a seasoned fighter, could not resist taking a fight with the smaller Maxime Talbot in game 6 with a 3 goal lead. Although Talbot clearly lost the fight, it proved to be a major catalyst for the Pens to bounce back with 5 unanswered goals and the series win.

  • And Talbot laughed even harder after scoring both Pens goals in game seven of the finals. That is a pro hockey players dream. He saved the playoffs and won the final series, something Philly fans will not get to witness any time soon.

  • shut up pussy... has that fucking pansy ever NOT gotten his ass beat in a fight?

gonna be sweet watching the Pens get worked next round.

  • How can he be a pansy if he stood up to a guy who was obviously bigger and more of a fighter.

Carcillo has plenty of time to think about it while

he works on his golf swing.

  • Haha guess the Pens are better.Look who won the stanley cup that year. . .

  • 1:17...mighty max changes the game, changes the series, and changes NHL history....atta boy MAX!

  • haha loooozer

  • yes it seems the pens definetly got "worked" in the next round haha.

  • The moment that won the cup for our PENGUINS!

Thank You SIDESHOW carcillo; Thank You for inspiring the PENS

  • I accidently removed your comment, I meant to hit reply. Anyway that's probably the difference between NHL and other levels. I would guess about 1/5th of every game out there is a fight that

has the purpose of inspiring teammates or fans.

Every single Penguin interviewed said that the fight sparked the comeback, there must be something to it.

  • Fights do build up momentum for both teams regardless if their player got beat up or not. To see a fight up close like that really does get your adrenalin rushing. You can't deny that.

  • You know whats even going to be sweeter Joe...not watching the Flyers!!!
