Better description of Tryouts:
Bars and refusals are only 5 faults with an off course being an elimination(brutus didn't go off course at all!)
Rd.1: I was the most nervous i have EVER been when showing. It was so much pressure. I went to the startline trying to remember my course b/c i kept forgetting it! But we ended up doing great with only 1 bar down, but otherwise he smoked it!
Rd2: I wasn't nearly as nervous this run(but still really nervous!)Brutus did awesome, hitting an unbeleivable weave entry! All he had in this run was a bar down too, but otherwise smoked it!
Rd 3: Brute did so great up until the end where he slid off the teeter(it was veryy slippery) but otherwise did fabulous!
At the end of Saturday Brutus ended up 8th overall, which i was absolutely amazed by considering we're running with the best people in the country!I am so proud of him! He is now on rest and retraining.Scar tissue from a previous injury has been bothering him(most likely due to his forceful 2o2o's) so i am currently training running contacts..:/ oo well long term helath is more important!
A big thankyou to Jenn Crank for coaching me and letting me run her wonderful dog Guess!
and thankyou for watching!
Such a great job you two did!!! What an accomplishment. We know it's just a matter of time :)
Hugs to Brutus, hope the healing goes well, and the running contact training too :)
