Boulder World Cup 2012 report - Vail

A couple in their lives, a couple on the podium: Anna and Kilian played once again their gold symphony in Vail, Colorado (USA), fifth event of the season. Shauna Coxsey (GBR) and Sean McColl (CAN) - silver, Juliane Wurm (GER) and Jan Hojer (GER) - bronze, could not prevail on the Austrian super-couple. The boulder World Cup finals will take place in Munich, on August 25 and 26.

Yes those were meant to test jamming skills as you can hear the routesetter say in the live stream. Some guys jammed, others like jakob schubert climbed the problem without jams. Unfortunately Jan Hojer, who had dominated the comp until then, got stuck trying to figure out the jams and dropped to bronze...

I'm just shaking my head in discontent... You spoiled everything..... That was probably the best part of this competition.

I think around 5 meters. Not exactly sure, but say one of the male climbers is around 2 meters tall, I'd say the wall is about 2.5 times their height; around 5 meters.

wrestling is a good sport, but it did not receive enough viewers and publicity in the Olympic games...throughout the review of the sport based on world viewers, ticket sales and global participation it ranked lowest. I guess they're dropping it in the 2020 Olympics, but it will be in the 2016 one.

this is what it is, why make Olympics something important? to me climbins means everything, olympics is just a stupid boring event i used to watch on tv once every 4 years... if something is not in the Olympics doesn't mean it's not amazing!
