one thing that screwed up india is hindu priciple of caste system.

not just caste system but also our weak belives in our sleves, lack of awareness of people (that includes educated ppl as well), lack of new ideas, not looking at reality of nation, over pride for nation, big hole in defence systm. we see the problem but there's no way anybody solvs it. list is endless.. our culture is ruined bcoz of us and we think its western culture..

I am English, but IMHO think that Pakistan was the worst thing to ever happen in history.

I don't know why India conceded to requests for a 'Pakistani' independance.

All that these warmongering Paki bastards are doing is creating more and more towelheads!!

Also, India has progressed to such an extent that their satelite actually found water on the moon as confirmed by NASA. . . yet Pakistan still can't contribute anything useful to modern society despite their claims of superiority!

@vpanwar matter of fact "out of India" theory postulates that aryans migrated out of India and into Europe.This is something we don't hear because it is not politically viable to say something like that.Indo european language tree suggests strong links between Sanskrit and europeans languages with the latter being born out of the former.Who would believ this?There are two sides to the coin,but some people just take a certain type of guess work as fact just coz it suits them ^_^Humans r fucked up

@n33rav Caste system was'nt called caste it was called varna.There were caste systems in all countries and cultures which is what the brits/mughals/Indian politicians used it to eyewash us.Indians lacking mass education were never told counter points and were'nt able enough to read it.That is why stigma is attached to caste system.Tell me in which other culture were the priestly class poorer than the outcastes?Only in India & the Brahmins were poor out of choice!Later castes became trade guilds.

@n33rav Caste system was utmost form of professionalism, where you divide society based on profession/caste to create best of the societies....

@LingaShaved I don't mean to justify the caste system the way it became, but i think the caste system started with good intentions. It's like, each part of the body is important; we must have a head to think of an idea, and we must have our hands to enact that idea. It's just that, it became twisted in a way to make some equal parts "more equal" than others, similar to how all good intentions can be twisted into things to manipulate others (ie. religion).

The cycle of reincarnation is hugely misinterpreted here, being a human is basically the last step of the ladder in the road to salvation, however if one is not to choose the proper way of life and doesn't live by the rules that God has given us, then he takes a step lower in the ladder. To attain salvation you must be able to worship God. If one is to do many bad actions in his/ her life he will reincarnate as something that can't worship as a rock or a mountain.
