@level242 , he not only would he in fact did, Roosevelt worked for the bankers, he needed a conflict in order to jump start the economy, it worked. Roosevelt knew the Japanese were coming, he allowed it to happen. Not really a conspiracy, he was a business man, to him it was simple economics.

Battleships were NOT obsolete in 1941.Battleships,submarines,ga­s masks for civilians, the Maginot Line, etc was were most military planners thought the war would focus on.Nobody knew the carriers, the Atom bomb,FDR's 4th term, etc would have played such a large role in WW2. FDR was undersecretary of the USN durring WW1. He LOVED the navy.He wouldn't let the Navy get its ass kicked like that in some conspiracy.

@level242 , only way he could pull the country out of post WWI isolationism, FDR felt the battleships were obsolete, he sacrificed those vessels, while sending the carrier fleet out of port.

i Read Somweheer that British Intelligence MI-6 Broke the japanese codes as of 1939 and had been transmitting information straight to the White House . MI-6 kept FDR up to date on the Japanese Military. FDR avoided the Official US Intelligence information on the Japanese so it can be said "Officially ' that he did not know about the Japanese attack on a US territory on Pearl harbor or elsewhere. That way FDR is off the Hook. His Contacts in the Royal dutch Shell Oil corp fueled the Japanese.

Roosevelt knew of the attacks, he chose to do nothing. Roosevelt knew the only way he could serve the international bankers, their need for war based industrial flux, was to allow the attack on Pearl Harbor. He sacrificed 2,400 souls at Pearl Harbor, thus pulling the country out of isolationism. It is not that the attacks were a hoax, they took place, just not how we were taught in the text books.

@StollandSon And DC freak, both my grandfathers were in WWII with one buried in ANC so please tell me if it's okay to pay attention to declassified stuff related to their service? Is that alright? @DCfreak87 Um, who said the attacks were fake? As far as the warnings of the attacks, that's mainline history, buddy. He knew; he either didn't think it was credible or he purposefully ignored it. But the only thing that's not up for debate is that he knew. EVEN THE US GOV'T ADMITS THAT HE KNEW. You should really do less typing and more reading. I mean that was in the news a few years ago when they declassified it.
