This is a collection of images from the innitnet (Toytoni, Brianstoys,SWCA...) Living in London you come across such vintage action figures circa 1978-89 now and again.
I have a few; Palitoy(of course), 1 Brazilian Luke, a C1P8,
1 PBP rotj Snaggletooth, a few Clipper, a few German, a couple of Japanese (thats my Jap tie fighter), 1 Canadian rotj Teebo, Meccano Jawas, Ben,Yan/Luke, Yoda long bubble and ROTJ chewie. In over 16 years of collecting I have never seen any Toltoys (apart from POTF atat, Nikto & GG). Only ever seen 1 Lilly Ledy,Canadian stuff is fairly rare, Only French Jawa is common...though I have seen 3 Yan/ Lukes. I also have a toptoys Storm and Vader. It is well known that most German / Clipper stuff comes from a dealer in Brighton! The most available cards here are Kenner, Trilogo and Palitoy.I hope this has been informative.

  • @mikestrange28 Same Island as you- The Isle of The Great Society!

I also have this Yoda- according to Stephan Fancourt he says these were created in 1986! You can see this in the Star Wars Collectors Archive! The one in the video is not my one but I do have that plus the Luke Jedi on French ROTJ Yan Solo! I have seen 3 of these in the UK. I have the Leia on 12 back Meccano also! I always liked getting the foreign cards as much as possible! Make a you tube film of your Leias perhaps?

  • @mkmfilms2009 Where are you from? When you mentioned ROTJ Meccanos I remembered I used to own a Yoda on French ROTJ card, with a really long bubble. I've just seen yours on one of your other videos. If you would like pics of my Leia collection send me a pm and I'll email them to you? or if you are a member of RebelScum you can see them in the Limelight section.

  • @mikestrange28 Definitely the Toltoys- I have never come across any here- though I only collect the small figures! The palitoy/Denys Fisher will get big bucks in the UK/USA as the Palitoy logo is greatly desired! Of late French Meccanos' have been hitting big prices on ebay for Jedi figures! I only have a Clipper die cast Tie fighter and a couple of ESB action figures so I would say this logo is scarce! I have a Takara Stormtrooper and C3PO but these are very much like US cards!

  • @mkmfilms2009 I thought the Toltoys, Takara and Denys Fisher would be the rarest as Ive never come across another of each for sale, Clippers come around every now and then and I know there is Lili Ledy for sale at the moment. I'll try and get the book on the weekend cheers for the info

  • @mikestrange28 Yeah it has foreign stuff! But in various editions! Still it is pretty comprehensive! Still the Lily Ledy, Toltoys are mega rare! As is the Clipper! If the likes of Brian's Toys had such item they would be mega expensive! In 2007/2008 I saw a Lily Ledy Leia Poncho going for £500- on a US card you can pick this us for about £40-£50 max!

  • @mkmfilms2009 Ive got a Forbidden Planet in my town centre so I'll pop in and have a look, does it cover all major variations from foreign countries like in the video? I would be very interested in finding out some valuations (for insurance purposes)

  • @mikestrange28 I see you live on this Island! You should be able to get it in Forbidden Planet for around £20,

though perhaps a sixth edition may be out soon?

  • @mikestrange28 The fifth edition came out last year! It is an American book so if you are American- I assume thou art then try tracking it down on Amazon! I do a review of it somewhere! Think it is called Star Wars collecting books reviews!

  • @mkmfilms2009 No havent seen that where could I get it?

  • For Mike Strange- Have you heard of the Star Wars Super Collector Wishbook?

Lee's AFN! Again condition plays an important part!
