An Alan Rickman Confession

Response to the 10 reasons to love Alan Rickman. I have a few of my own to add. This is my first attempt at a fan video... and it was really fun! I'd like to attempt a Snape fan video next, so give me some suggestions/feedback on this one.

Please comment, but before you all tell me to seek professional help, keep in mind that this is supposed to be silly. Don't fret over my mental health.

OMG! You did such a TERRIFIC job on this video. You think you got it bad for Mr. Rickman? I've set mine AND my boyfriend's Facebook profile pics to display two different characters of his. I cannot get enough of him. Then if you could do an Alan video with a Lady Gaga song, that would throw me over the top. WOW! Thank you.

Yep he's 39 years older than me, 12 years older than my dad, and ditto, ditto and ditto with all the comments made here. haha. I think the problem is class, poise, and eloquence like his don't seem to lend themselves easily to most younger men of the newer generations anymore (with certain exceptions, Benedict Cumberbatch anyone?), so we who appreciate such traits are left to either put up with the youthful alternatives or lust after men most would consider far too old for us. Ah well. :-)

At least, that was my understanding! I am sure there must be more than one costume available at any given time while filming, since accidents can happen. Someone can trip, spill something, rip a seam, whatever--they can't just halt production for an hour while the laundry pre-treats a stain, or the tailor mends a rip. There must be another one available on hand, ready for "just in case". But to the best of my knowledge, these are the actual costumes involved in filming.

@kategotscruples , believe it or not, there are only twelve buttons on his frock coat. When the HP Exhibit came to Chicago two years ago, we saw it. I counted 'em--there's only one dozen buttons on his coat. Seems like there are more, but there's not!

@Devilishbritt well you know he made that character what it is right? Rowling said she thought of just killing him off early on until she saw him develope the character on his own. AND HE WASN"T EVEN THE FIRST CHOICE FOR THE ROLE! CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT!?
