Development of a pregnancy experience system Mommy Tummy

Abstract: Humans are conceived in a mothers womb. The growth and movement of the fetus in the stomach is a phenomenon only a mother is able experience. Every human cannot experience the joy of carrying a child as a mother would. But having a fetus does not come with discomfort like bulging waistline, hyperemesis and contraction before giving birth to the child. Men never get to experience having a child inside them for the whole 10 months of the development inside the mother. Only a hand full of people have experienced the joy or having a child.Male humans will never have to deal with difficulties of bearing a child and performing everyday routine with the weight of a fetus on their body. Due to lack of understanding the effort needed for the development of a fetus, men usually does not put effort to change their habits for the betterment of the child. For example give up smoking or give a seat up in a public area for a pregnant person.
There are some pregnant experience products. To use them, user can experience the life of pregnancy and learn motherly feelings and assistant for pregnancy. In some of the other products the users needs to add subtract some weighted materials like iron and sand for changing weight of pregnancy simulation device. The users will not be able to experience process of maternity naturally, and cannot feel fetus temperature and fetal activity with these products. We propose a pregnancy experience system called Mommy Tummy. Mommy Tummy is a system where the user can feel the fetuss temperature, fetal activity and weight gain gradually through the course of 10 months to experience maternity. This system can be used on the body at all times of the day and for a daily routine. Allowing the user to experience the discomforts and joy of pregnancy, we aim for users to become aware of the life cooperation and appreciate parenting.
