Peregrine falcons catch a pigeon

Tiercel Peregrine persues a pigeon and is joined by the Falcon. After he catches it she immediately takes it from him and while flying away bends down and kills it.
In the slow motion, 1/6 speed, you can see that the Tiercel is upside down when he reappears at the top of the frame after I lost him against the cliff, and when he gets close to the pigeon it does a neat half barrel roll to evade him

Yes, it looks like she stole his lunch, but in fact they were hunting cooperatively all day catching food for their 4 babies
