I will humbly ask all the persons to load a performance of their own of this concerto on youtube who are here to criticise Richter to show that they can do 'better' than him rather making futile comments.

Richter is one of the Titans on the keyboard. He is a prolific sight-reader also. Moreover, a marvelous personality without any ego problem or racistic chauvinism. One should prove his authority before criticising him.

When you can write a piece like this not too long after puberty (Mozart wrote it at age 17) there is no doubt that god put mozart here to fill the world with music. Every generation is blessed to discover it. I love and thank you mozart.

@nirna1986 In case you love this performance (as I do), express your opinion. but i think it would be better to accept also others' opinions as well, as much as we disagree with them. "You agree with me or you must shut up" is probably not among the best ways to speak about music. Finally, if not being a pianist means i can't say i don't like something means also that i can't say that i like it. According to ur reasoning i couldn't even understand what music is since i can't play.Happy listening

I disagree with what you say. Anyone is entitled to express his/her opinion even if this person can't produce the same performance. I love this video by Richter. I can't play piano. But in case Richter had completely messed up the concerto, why couldnt i say "Richter here played orrendously bad" ? I am the listener, not the musician. I can't play but i can listen and judge, and maybe say "I prefer Horowitz to Anda, I prefer Pollini to Richter". Just express your opinion with respect.
