Simpsons has a long history of parodying it's Fox motherstation. I remember bits about "Worlds blankiest blank", "You are watching fox." "We are watching Fox", and plenty of other stuff. It's nothing new, it isn't "trying to stay relevant" any more than it has for the past 10 years or so.

This is the BEST.
And it brings up some good points. In fact I'll go as far to say that NMA is more 'fair and balanced' than FOX NEWS will ever be.
