  • The mouse never moved when i actually made the test.

I made a EMI filter to put on the back of the computer Power supply and had to convince my neighbour to put it on his computer.

(This problem is coming from my neighbour's computer) and propagating through the newly installed electrical wiring which runs between our two appartments).

If you notice carefully; there is a permanent 9/20 + steady signal and then there is an intermitent signal on top which sounds like chirping.

  • That doesn't sound like the power supply...it sounds like the mouse. I get that sound at 0kHz in my computer's sound card when I move the cursor around. I remember in 1996 I had a 386 SX-16Mhz computer which had a sound card who's audio sounded like listening to a 5 watt SSB station on HF with BPL in the background.
