You'll realize that they weren't running into the fallout because they were retarded, but because they 1.Didn't know the full extent of the dangers of radiation, and 2.Were doing this to prepare for a war they thought could happen, in which they would nuke a city and immediately swarm in to pick off any survivors. It was a tactic they honestly considered, enough to do a training run of it to make sure it would work. Once you realize that, this clip is freaking scary.
