This vlog discusses commenters' responses to a question that is heavily dependent on knowledge of sound, and reveals my answer to the question! Why was the question difficult for BOTH Hearing and Deaf people? What about Deaf students?

That's very true especially when we Deaf teachers taking Praxis (Teachers Certification Test) and there are some questions related to rhyme or phonology that isn't fair for me to answer! I wish that Praxis that needs to be review by a Deaf person as well. I like your vlog!

@Deafgoldenhair You're correct re: Praxis exams. I have heard that many Deaf people aspiring to be teachers have difficulty passing that exam. Thank you for raising this issue. Further proof that standardized tests do have bias.

Our family plays a really fun game called "Cranium". We all love playing it, however when your man lands on this one space requiring you to hum the tune to a popular song, we just skip that part because it's not fair to any Deaf players. Maybe in that test you're talking about, Deaf people should be able to skip that too! It just wouldn't be fair! Enjoyed your fun lesson!
