ah man, i dont like this one at all.. this is just not right to do this kind of comparison..
the verse was talking about a promise that given church had made.. and paul just wanted to make sure theyd make good on that promise.. it wasnt at ALL about competition.. and "giving" should not be an area of competition.. it should be from the heart or not at all.. thats it.. sorry mark, but this one i really didnt like at all. theres much better ways of encouraging others to give. :/
