no, the point of it was to try and trace an intermittent misfire that had been causing problems for weeks. if you listen to the note of the engine, you can hear the misfire at a certain rev point. this engine is more than capable of taking the revs at this level and probably does more revs than that in a race heat.

for sure its an electril problem,not fuel,,i would say ur ignition coils,sparkplugs or cdi units is the problem..

@Akayamtech that aint no fishing boat motor,the motor is balanced and lightened flywheel.it prolly consistently run 15,000 rpms in a race!
