@MrDragonflya i never said it didn't, what i was getting at was the fact that even though music could have religious meaning or undertone, in the end it's still art and it's still able to teach people things and connect people. even if they don't follow the same religion or have the same beliefs.

This song is from the perspective of a believer after God defeats Satan and returns to heaven. Since Gods Physical presence has left him, the man is confused and afraid that everything that he has put his faith in is false. He is thinking through what happened and wondering if he missed the point of Gods time on earth.
