My attempt to make the perfect wooden mold WITHOUT any power tools. What can I say, I'm a computer techie. :-D

  • Thanks! I will make a follow-up video and show you how it came out. I have a watermelon soap batch in there at the moment and it looks so perfect. Smells awesome.

p.s. I asked my son what scent he wanted of all that i had and Watermelon won.

  • Love it!

  • Just for the record, if you ever do want to use your silicone molds, you just need to put a piece of strong cardboard or even wood slat on the sides of your mold...

  • Great idea. I'm going to make one based on your instructions. If I may critique? On your project list, add a "camera holder" tilted and placed to point at your work station. That way sensative views won't get motion sick like I did. Move the object(s) needing to be shown, not the camera. I'm not trying to be snarky! Honest! Just an idea.

  • For a techie you did great! I built mine out of the same stuff, but I made it all permanently put together. I like the idea of the squares to be able to adjust the size. I also didn't think about the L brackets so I may try that and see what happens. Great job!

  • Great craftmanship and creativity. :)
