@speedstacker51 It is actually good to switch the side you mount from, assuming both horse and rider are capable. Always mounting from the left can cause the horse's spine to become misaligned. Riders are taught to mount from the left because traditionally, knights kept their swords on their left hip, when prevented them from mounting on the right.
