True, anytime governments attempt to regulate markets they hurt markets. The poiticians never learn that centralized planning is not the way true free-markets correct themselves. Free-markets correct themselves much more quickly and efficiently than any govt. policy can.
I understand your concern. I'm concerned, too. Many uninformed people fell for the scare tactics and supported the bailout. But everyday more and more people are getting more informed about the situation.
Problem is, every person in the country can be upset about the way the administration has been handling the situation, but anything short of an act equal to the French Revolution, the powers that be will continue to go down the road they have decided to take. The people have no voice.
