Mary Zentmyer stars as "Sister" in the international hit comedy, Late Nite Catechism, one of the longest running plays in theater history! Written by Vicki Quade & Maripat Donovan. Check out the website: www.nuns4fun.com.
@MarcQ21 This is very true but you'd be surprised how many will still view this and take what she says as true -- Catholics among them. I was merely pointing out the errors in the dialogue -- much the same as the throngs of readers who took Dan Brown's books (Angels & Demons and Da Vinci Code) as fact about the Catholic Church. Both books (and the subsequent films), though entertaining, are total works of FICTION and in NO way represent anything about the Vatican.
Very funny! But some of what she says is incorrect. Vatican II never did away with Latin. It became optional. Check out Daily Masses on EWTN. You were allowed to eat meat ONLY if you did some "good" work. Again, this can be checked on EWTN. Otherwise, fish is STILL required on Fridays. Just setting the record straight.
"Hootenanny Mass"...I've been using that phrase for years and thought it was original ! Ha!

If you look at the website for the Late night catechism they are all actresses--not nuns.

"Hootenanny" Mass. Love that term but not that Mass. Give me back my choir!

0:42-In reality if you read the documents of Vatican II, they said keep the Latin, Gregorian Chant, Ad Orientem etc.
