Thank you for this video. I just bought myself a Clark Celtic model. The directions on it are decent, but this helps, as the instruction song sheet that came with it has flats in it as well, which makes it kind of confusing.
Two questions though. Do you know how to do the half closed hole? If so, could you post a video to demonstrate? And what songs do you recommend for a beginner, as my song sheet has maybe two songs that I could even attempt at my level.

Oh, I forgot a question. Does the placement of the hands (left on top three holes, right on bottom) make a difference in playing? When I handle my flute it just seems more comfortable to hold it with my right hand on top, but if right hand on bottom in necessary, I'll learn to adjust. Thanks.

@dojofish132 Ah there is not much difference I would imagine, most right handed people play left top, right bottom. Go with whats comfortable I say.

when all fingers are off the holes, what holds the whistle in place? is it just with us mouth? im finding it hard to do
