Charles Gounod (arr. for piano solo by Berthold Tours): 'The King of Love my Shepherd is'

With its melodramatic central section, this was definitely a piece for the Victorian Sunday afternoon at home. Tours was a Dutch born violinist and pianist who moved to Britain and worked as musical adviser to the publisher Novello.

I'm sure you're right. Gounod's setting is not well known in the UK nowadays.

Your one of only a few people I know of who can play that arrangement. It would be even more beautiful witht the vocals though.
