  • @linglingchat OK - first, in this vid, the dudes almost 80. second, watch his double broad sword ground brocade (performed, in addition to a bunch of other forms by the old man, at the same celebration) -- he basically built this style of kung fu from the ground up, and, as demonstrated here -- his prowess goes wayyy beyond typical, explosive, shaolin-themed movements (he was just a master of those, too). Phenomenal. A supreme grandmaster, for sure, and willing to prove it. At 80.

  • Duai le'!, zhe ge si jen li gung fu shu! This is true kung-fu skill, as in sensitivity training, and very hard to do! This is NOT 'twirling-baton',...lol'! This training is for controlling your opponent in a wrestling, grappling situation! Wang Jo-Si gung fu fa si tai hao le'! duo xie ni, Si-Fu Li ma-Keh

  • this is very high skill. Anyone who thinks they can do it should post a video up of themselves doing it.

  • Its a skill of type yes, but not martial arts in any form. A "supreme grandmaster" as he is called (ha ha) shouldnt be juggling a baton to please a crowd, its just embarrassing!

  • I'm sure this takes a long time and a lot of focus to learn, therefore it is kung fu. What you mean is this is not the practical application of the weapon. Who cares, enjoy the skill.

  • Try it with the weight on one end which throws off the balance!!

  • This is a typical weapon found in the Northern KF styles
