@linglingchat OK - first, in this vid, the dudes almost 80. second, watch his double broad sword ground brocade (performed, in addition to a bunch of other forms by the old man, at the same celebration) -- he basically built this style of kung fu from the ground up, and, as demonstrated here -- his prowess goes wayyy beyond typical, explosive, shaolin-themed movements (he was just a master of those, too). Phenomenal. A supreme grandmaster, for sure, and willing to prove it. At 80.
Duai le'!, zhe ge si jen li gung fu shu! This is true kung-fu skill, as in sensitivity training, and very hard to do! This is NOT 'twirling-baton',...lol'! This training is for controlling your opponent in a wrestling, grappling situation! Wang Jo-Si gung fu fa si tai hao le'! duo xie ni, Si-Fu Li ma-Keh
Its a skill of type yes, but not martial arts in any form. A "supreme grandmaster" as he is called (ha ha) shouldnt be juggling a baton to please a crowd, its just embarrassing!
I'm sure this takes a long time and a lot of focus to learn, therefore it is kung fu. What you mean is this is not the practical application of the weapon. Who cares, enjoy the skill.

this is very high skill. Anyone who thinks they can do it should post a video up of themselves doing it.
