  • RESULTS! I just made this recipe and it's as easy as it looks to make. Prep time: 5-6 minutes. It was pretty good. Very subtle pear flavor. For it to come out like Nigella's bake for 22 - 24 minutes at most. I baked a full 30 minutes and it came like a cake. I'll make it again but bake it for less time. I fixed the cake-likeness by pouring cream over it. That made it so much better! I think this would work with almost any soft fruit of your choice. Strawberries? Mmmmm.....!!!

  • Nigella should open her own restaurant in London

  • her and Jaime Murray are almost twins....

  • I do this in half the size as I'm single, and its delicious, one portion hot, second portion cool or cold with some vanilla yoghurt or cream.

  • wheresmylife - she said 25-30 minutes to allow for the fact that she had a roast chicken in the oven,. If you have less food in the oven then your cooking time will naturally reduce.

  • @brokendisease I found out, it's "Yachts (A Man Called Adam Mix)" by Coco Steel & Lovebomb

  • THIS IS AS EASY AS DESSERTS GET, AND IT HAS A MASSIVE IMPACT ON IMPRESSING YOUR GUEST (S).

  • I made this last night and it was delicious, really chocolately but not sickly and the pears were really nice being canned in their own juices. My mum loved it and she is not a fan of chocolate desserts so it's a definite winner! I recommend cooking it like 'wheresmylife' said for 22-24 mins so you get a layer of chocolate sponge and then a layer of chocolate sauce at the bottom over the pears. I am so making this again! YUM YUM!

  • @farflungfloyd

Cook them yourself. Just peel them cut them in silces, cover with water, add some sugar and lemon juice to taste and boil them for about 10 minutes.

  • Does anyone know the song that's playing when Nigella puts the pudding into the oven?

  • @wheresmylife Have you tried this with strawberries? Anyone?
