CBS' offbeat correspondent Bill Geist reports from a community which has gotten its hackles up about hanging laundry from clotheslines outdoors. Some say that line-drying is more environmentally friendly. Some old biddy complains that it's aesthetically displeasing. Insert Bill Geist and you're sure to enjoy. i'm all for the line, but if you agree to housing association rules, then you should obey them. and if you're sooooo concerned about the environment, then move into a smaller home. how big is her house? how many thousands of square feet? living in a house like that and then having a clothesline is like eating a Big Mac and diet coke.

This is so stupid. That women is the one who has to pay the energy bills. Now idk about the contract but there is nothing wrong with line drying clothes. I personally like the way clothes turn out better on the line than in the dryer.
