Job story.Will you still love God ?

Many people just say it as a story,but its more than a story.why?Job was a God fearing,humble man.Satan was still in heaven by the time when he looked at Job and how blessed he was.Satan would roam the earth and heavens everytime he wanted.Until one day Jehovah asked him,where are you coming from?Satan replied and said from earth.At this Jehovah said you have put your eyes upon my servant Job.Satan said that Jehovah had blessed him too much and that Job only served him because of all the things he had,but if he took everything Job had as possession,Job would curse Jehovah for taking everything away from him.So satan said that me and you only call God when we are in difficulties.Jehovah has let satan rule the earth,to show Satan and the people that he is not a good ruler,because he has intefer in war,politics,religion.Our only hope is the kingdom of Jehovah and Jesus.

@stupidvid Well it is a negative story, just because Job never renounced his faith and got rewarded more children and riches than he had before doesn't make up for the children he already lost. People are irreplacable. The only comfort he had is that he'd see them again in the next life in due time. Whether or not this is the point of the story doesn't matter, it's still an important factor that can't be ignored, it's part of the reason he retained his faith.

Most Xians refrain from inquiry & accept notions of hell, which is the most vile threat meant to control, yet Xians can't see it...they accept all of this out of fear.  To the rational Xians, they don't believe it, but they go along without rocking the boat bcuz underneath, they fear the possibility of this tyrannical monster they call god. What's unfortunate is that 99% of Xians don't really know scripture or the history of Judaism. If they did, they'd be atheists.

Man's nature confounded the early religious people. This is why the authors of Genesis, who created the Adam & Eve story, devised sin to explain man's struggle with his animal nature. These barbarians didn't know of Evolution...that we share a common ancestry with the apes. It's a fact of life, of science, and we should not be ashamed of it. Anyway, bcuz they didn't understand our struggle to subdue our base instincts, they saw those instincts as sin. Some still don't know it.
