@69phmike We must have been listening to two different interviews. Bette very carefully & diplomatically avoided giving an actual opinion on Susan's voice. She made it clear it was a popularity contest for the underdog. She described Susan's "style," which is singing straight and from the heart. Susan CANNOT SING. She has pitiful technique, and almost no power in her middle range. She has become famous because, "The British love the mediocre man who is modest about it."
