Severe Thunderstorm & FUNNEL CLOUD Northeast of Edmonton Jul 31/10 By David Cure-Hryciuk

On July 30/10, a severe thunderstorm pounded Edmonton with intense downpours and frequent lightning, prompting Commonwealth Stadium officials to stop football play at an Eskimos game being played at the time. The very next day, the same storm system generated FUNNEL CLOUDS northeast of Edmonton near Glendon AB on an eerie day (the 23rd anniversary of the F4 category 1987 Edmonton Tornado).
