I like it when she snatches her hand away after accidentally pricking it on the thorn, and he tries to kiss her hand. She's tried of his yo-yo emotions regarding her. When he says forgive me on the beach, I think he was also asking God's forgiveness because dammit he was horny and had to jump Megan's bones. I'm sure he felt the sin was worth it! LOL!

This was next to Roots my all time favorite Miniseries. You really felt for the characters. Oh, here's another fun fact. The Young Lady who played Teen Meggie was Sydney Penny who is probably best known as Julia Santos Keefer on The Soap Opera All My Children in the 1990's. Her husband is the Grandson or Nephew of Helen Wagner who played Nancy Hughes McCloskey on As The World Turns non stop for 54 Years.
