DALLAS - Officials on Sunday released the 911 call placed by a woman whose husband was killed while jet skiing on the Mexican border.

The tourists were fired at last week on Falcon Lake after they were approached by two pirate boats .

During the frantic call, the woman told the dispatcher that the man was shot in his head.

"He was thrown off the jet ski and I couldn't pick him up to get him on mine," she said.

Investigators said the pirates kept shooting at the woman but that she was able to reenter U.S. water and get to shore safely .

Recovery teams are still looking for the man's body.

Police are urging people to stay on the U.S. side of lakes along the Mexican border. The advisory is similar to the one issued in May.
