@vanished001 that is true but consider it like this..if they just thew him away he would just be forgotten and just another drug user..but if they give him a chance as a celebrity it would give him an chance to sober up and change his life for the better,he could be a role model for other users to see that they can give you a chance and it is possible to sober up..at the same time it might show that they dont have harsh penalties for users and might make them confident in getting away scott free

If he hadn't been Steven Page he WOULD have done jail time..famous people get away with a slap on the wrist.
George Michael is another example of this.
If you do the crime do the time, no matter how famous you are !

Its stupidity that people are arrested and put in jail for choosing cocaine over caffeine, or nicotine. Spend the time worry about Charlie Sheen beating his wife and kids instead of somebody getting high

Well said. :)

Your right Kiefer did his jail time in county lock up not a country club, he was just like any other prisoner and i applaud him for it . These "celebrities" need to take responsiblity for their illegal acts, not constantly having their high priced lawyers and star struck cops/judges give them a free ride. I say again if it was anyone else they would have been in jail no doubt.
It was just a new weight loss program.

If it was anyone else they would have recieved jail time no doubt. Double standard, one set of rules for celebrities another for the everyday person, this stinks.
