@chandler101ify every ballerina has their own interpretation. i like this better because odile was hiding her evil in front of sigfried, but showing it to other people especially when she's interacting with rothbart. she's supposed to trick sigfried that she's the same odette he fell in love with in act2? it's a good thing that nunez thought about doing this because she thinks sigfried and the audience are smart.

You know, the two top comments are about Marianela, but I have to say Thiago Soares was IMPECCABLE as well. Especially @ 2:57 with all that grace and poise exiting out of his turn, he def nailed it with the routine and choreography for me! :)

You know what Marianela is a great performer/ballerina and no doubt the best Odile I've ever seen, but there's only one thing that's been irking me: Odile was supposed to be a dark character out to harm Odette and help her father take over the kingdom, so I wish I could have seen the anger and the deceit and the hatred and the conniving and manipulating ways odile had in Marianela's face and movements. I felt like she was too sweet in this scene :/ Impeccable, yes, but too sweet and friendly..

the leg in attitude acutally gets higher with every revolution , yet she comes out of the pirouette as soft as a feather falling from the sky ....she does this three times in a row.CRAZY.!!! Her technique is so solid she can invest most of her energy in her character , She delivers the goods., for me she is THE BLACK SWAN!!!
