MAS 13x6 prop, old english diesel mix (just for kicks, it's easier to make in a jiffy).

From the sound I reckon around 9000 rpm on this prop.

Long idle periods and fast response, a sweetheart of an engine :-)

I need to raise the idle a wee bit once in a while as the fuel starts to drain from the carb back into the fuel tank, as the carb has difficulty sucking the fuel at such low rpms ( the tank sits around 1 inch / 2 cm lower than the spraybar on my test bench).

Oh, if you're wondering, yes, it's silicone (glow) fuel line, except inside the fuel tank where it's tygon. As long as I clean the lines with old glow fuel the silicon will regain from the little swelling caused by the diesel fuel; in an airplane it would all be gas compatible fuel lines with no silicone tubing.
