  • The difference between the Libs PC Based filters and ALPs ISP Based filters is we already know how to bypass the ISP filters before they've even been implemented. It's a pointless argument on Conroy's behalf (I know it's an old vid from the 2007 debate) but his filter is fool proof of sorts,

It's being push for implementation by a fool and Even a fool could bypass it.

  • fool-proof?

the problem is the person in charge of it is a fool.

  • Conroy is a sad joke and a stain on Australias reputation as a leader and a free country. Now the same government wants all ISPs to record all data passing through them. If you live in Australia, vote for the Greens or someone other than Labour.

  • @Pxm78 Ahh,but who would know? any websites saying that it has been bypassed will go on the RC list, and you would have to bypass the filter to see that people can easily bypass the filter. Add in the complacency of the mainstream media in being negligent on reporting this farce. It wont get out much, until a senate inquiry raised by a concerned senator, which translates into MORE CONTROL!!!! Cue jackboots and truncheons.

  • Conroy is proof of fools.

  • To Conroy: Isn't is true that your filters can already be bypassed (and they aren't even implemented yet) trumping the 30 minutes it took Tom to bypass Coonan's filters further humiliating you and isn't it true your guarantee that your filter will stop this material is more "misinformation" on your behalf, and will you now commit to developing a policy that will benefit and help protect those who require it online that will not make the Internet more expensive and less reliable in this country?

  • Protip: The internet is not just port 80.

  • "The state must declare the child to be the most precious treasure of the people. As long as the government is perceived as working for the benefit of the children, the people will happily endure almost any curtailment of liberty and almost any deprivation." - Mein Kampf

  • A word to Conroy, you should not be pointing the finger when it comes to humiliation.... yours is on the way :-)

  • I cant wait till Conroy's filter is bypassed and embarrasses him
