Actually, swordplay is about the only thing that ISNT more difficult, Gen was trained to use either hand... I wish you'd focused more on why Gen is king, and his relationship with Irene. The King of Attolia is probably the most complex of mwt's books. I love the way Gen transitions from Queen's Thief to King... it's quite amazing. ^-^ Plus he's so cute when he "falls asleep" during briefings. The *Queen* of Attolia is probably my favorite book. for the king of attolia i think you can't really tell if the series has ended or not, it was sort of like a cliffhanger and a closing at the same time

It's really good. I accidentally read The Queen of Attolia first, though, then read this one, and then read The Thief.
