You're scrolling diagonally of course it's going to move diagonally. If you can't scroll straight, you might want to get yourself checked for Parkinson's, rather than blaming the Playbook's software which is clearly not the problem here.

Wow, this is seriously the stupidest complaint ever. Why are you blaming the perfectly good screen response and behaviour when its obviously your retarded diagonal swiping that's to blame here. If you can't control your fingers enough to scroll up and down, you may want to get checked for Parkinson's seriously.

@TechEnthusiastPro I understand your problem with it but I don't think it is really that big of deal. If something this small bugs you why would you even get one. Your posts are more damaging than helpful for the PB. You would be better off writing a letter to RIM than posting it on crackberry.

L2 scroll... clearly you should stick to an ipad....
You scroll like an idiot. Who scrolls that aggressively?? You are clearly sliding your thumb across the screen, of course its going to scroll that way...

@aeryik The scrolling speed on the PlayBook is constant.. it doesn't accelerate with frequent swiping. Hence the fast aggressive swipes to compensate.

Scrolling speed should get incrementally faster as you swipe, but it doesn't happen at all on the PlayBook.

Watch the horizontal positioning of the page and the margins on the left.
When iPad detects vertical scrolling, it locks the horizontal position UNTIL the scrolling stops. PlayBook doesn't do that! This is the correct behavior.
