Would these regulations help impede small businesses from making money and expanding, I'm sure it does, to a degree. But what's our priority here. To make it so companies can make as much money and grow as big as they want, at the expense of workers, consumers, and the environment. Or make it so workers and consumers are protected and given good benefits, and the environment isn't put at risk by expansion. I'd say the ladder is more important, businesses can still grow despite regulations.

People talk alot about government regulations on small businesses and how it's killing jobs. But if you actually look at it...basically all of those regulations are meant to protect consumers, like the FDRA which regulates how companies use and share your information. To help workers, like with minimum wage increases and sick leave pay. As well as, helping stave off environmental destruction, like the regulation that says you can't open up a shop or store, if it will endanger wildlife.
