Blindfolded Breakfast

Performa TV staff Tairone Bastien, Ronnie Bass and Beatrice Glow participate in the Forgotten Sculptors' worldwide performance of remaining blindfolded for one hour while doing a mundane task.10am New York; 11am Buenos Aires; 12pm S??o Paolo; 3pm London; 4pmCairo, Rome; 5pm Addis Ababa; 9pm Phnom Penh; 10pm ShanghaiEveryone, all over the world, was invited to take part in the actionBendati/Blindfolded from wherever they happeed to be, at the same time.Participants are asked to remain blindfolded for one hour.This is to identify with the state of mind of Luigi Negro, who, for over ayear now, has had trouble with his eyesight. He must remain in completedarkness, or keep his eyes closed for long periods of time.Those contributing were free to stay still or move, do something ornot, work or rest. Participants were also invited to identify with Luigi'scondition and simply experience the loss of sight for an hour.
