I am so fortunate to live in the shadow of the magestic Superstition Mountains in AZ. My property is filled with bunnies, squirrels, birds(many of which eat from my hands), bobcat, coyotes, mule deer and various hawks. I even have a "pet" pack rat named Larry (after Rose Nyland's pet mouse!) He lives under a shed and comes when I call him to eat peanuts! I love to ride my horse in the quiet beauty of the desert. This is definitely my soul's place!

Bless you our dear lady. I am retired and now living in paradise, as my brother and sister said when they visited us here in WA from Indiana. She ran in the Boston marathon and when jogging out here a herd of elk followed her a short distance. We also have deer, mountain lion [one growled outside my bedroom window. On another occasion my wife thought a woman was screaming-it was a cougar. Also bear, coyote [their song is beautiful], fox, bobcat, eagles etc. We live on a wildlife reserve. Joy!!!

Thank you Betty White and The Wilderness Society! Hopefully we will soon get more wilderness preserved under the Wilderness Act of 1964 in the East too, including in Pennsylvania!
