Music Brings Us Together - ArtsFiesta! host family banquet

Tlaquepaque's Mariachi Femenil Nuevo Tecalitlan and Springfield's JRB Band jam at the Sister Cities host family banquet. The Sister Cities Association of Springfield sponsored the all-female mariachi band to perform at schools, universities, and at ArtsFiesta! in downtown Founder's Park during their week-long visit to Springfield.

The university-trained musicians are ambassadors of Mexican culture and music and have performed at international Mexican music festivals. JRB Band will travel to Tlaquepaque in February 2010 as a return cultural exchange.
