BMW Hillclimb Racers E21 / E30 / E46

I made this compilation from an old tape shot during a Hillclimb race in Lebanon in 2009. Even though the image quality is poor, i wanted to show these lovely "old-school" bimmers to the fans of M-Power. They are fast, noisy and a pleasure to watch if a good driver's behind the wheel.

Some of them have crazy engine swaps like the yellow 323i E30 at the end and the black/white E30 M3. They both have tuned S54E32 engines from the E46 M3.
The red E46 is a made-from-scratch car based on a 330Ci chassis. The engine, which unfortunately broke that day (you can hear the 'boom' at the end of the sequence) is also a modified S54B32.

@procioneintubato Well you must be right, some are very noisy indeed, however from what i saw on some European hillclimb vids some cars are way noisier, one that comes to my mind is the Mercedes 190 with JUDD V8 engine (driven by reto meisel), for instance... way noisier :)

@ahage4x4 For competitions like this they are probably allowed to have these noise levels. Are they street legal levels? Most likely not
