My mom had a 1988 Chevy Astro. The Astro was reliable and had plenty of room for our family. I also learned how to drive, in that van.

@SaraP1900 Yeah, it can seat 8, but they wont be comfortable. The Aerostar seats 7 in extended form comfortably!! cool.

This and that 85 Aerostar commericals just make me laugh, with this saying its the best van (hahahaha, no) and Ford sayin theirs was aerodynamic (hahahahaha, no)
