this is awesome! I love how they play modern music that joe schmo would know rather than the stuff alot of band play these days where you have to have an advanced degree in music history to even know anything about it...lol (not that there's anything wrong with those shows, mind you)

ryrycalguy:first of all, all of your videos are awesome. Second, did you take these or are they the official videos taken by the UC? THey always seem to be in the top row exactly at the fifty..
also, in the opener against MSU this season, if their band does their reenactment of the play, could you please see if you could get your hands on that video? Thanks

either the microphone used is the jankest piece of shit ever, or this band has the tone quality expected of a junior high band on crack.

Yeah, the mic pretty much sucks. That's why you hear random instruments pop out it's because they're right in front of the microphone.

You guys are playing us (Tennessee) for our opener this year. Will your band be there? The bands don't usually come over to Tennessee for our season opener, I hope you guys will be there.

The Straw Hat Band (a smaller subset of the Cal Band) will be there. You guys should come over and say HI!, we're very nice people and you'll probably have more freedom in the stadium as a band member from the Tennesse band.
